Just picked up a Trek aluminum frame and it`s a hidious color. Anybody have any ideas on how I can remove the old stuff(it`s anodized I think) and refinish it in a more desirable color? Thansk all, Mike in Winnipeg

Not much experience here, but I am wondering if the traditional means of refinishing might work. Using very fine grit 3M "Wet-Or-Dry" 600 or better, wetsand the frame to bare metal, then spray on the appropriate primer, dry sand it slightly to give it "tooth" and wipe it down just before shooting it.
Anodized might be a different thing altogether though (showing my ignorance). :-)
